Our client who is a leading real estate developer, is currently seeking an experienced operations manager to add value into their Project Development Construction department.

Reporting directly to the Business Development Director the Hospitality Manager will

be responsible for ensuring that our hotels consistently meet the requirements and

standards set by the hotel brand we are partnering.

Main responsibilities –

  • You will act as the primary point of contact between our hotel and the hotel brand to facilitate regular communication to address any questions, concerns, or updates regarding brand standards, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Will closely monitor and assess our hotel operations, facilities, and services to ensure they align with the brand standards and legal requirements, assisting in leading the implementation and management of policies, operating procedures, and regulations, including inspecting and reporting.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to identify any gaps or deviations from the brand guidelines. As well as maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance with the brand requirements and legal matters. This includes keeping track of audits, inspections, and other compliance-related activities.
  • Liaise with the hotel brand representatives to address any concerns and resolve any compliance-related issues promptly.
  • Building and maintaining a strong working relationship with the hotel brand representatives is crucial. You will engage in regular communication, attend brand-related meetings, and collaborate with brand managers to ensure a smooth partnership and alignment with the brand goals.

The right candidate will have:

  • Degree in Hotel, Hospitality and/or Tourism Management, Business, or a relevant field of work – Mandatory.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proficient in Hotel Management software.
  • Goal driven ability.
  • Experience in a multi-national environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Portuguese and English.
  • Have a valid Driving Licence.
  • 5+ years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated experience in organizing, planning, and executing large scale luxury hospitality projects from conception through implementation.
  • Experience in Hotel Pre-Opening is a plus.
  • The Hospitality Manager must have an in-depth knowledge of hotel management requirements and legislation.

Details :

This is a full time, permanent position with contract provided.

Monday – Friday (40 hours) 09h00 – 18h00

Region – Almancil, Faro, Portugal.
