Technicial Nursing Director

Job Description

Our client based in Albufeira is currently seeking a technical director to lead the operations of their domiciliary care company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of care, compliance with regulations, and overseeing of all staff/visits and home checks to enhance patient outcomes. As a member of the senior management team, the Technical Director will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization and ensuring that services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

The role –

Oversee the quality and consistency of home care services, ensuring they meet client needs and exceed industry standards.

Work closely with care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for clients.

Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Staying informed of changes in healthcare regulations and best practices, ensuring continuous adherence.

Implementing strategies that enhance service quality, patient outcomes, and overall organizational performance.

Managing budgets and resource allocation for technical projects and care delivery operations.

Act as a key point of contact for clients, caregivers, and management to address any concerns or feedback and ensure the smooth delivery of services.

The right candidate –

Must be a fully registered nurse in Portugal within ‘Ordem dos Enfeirmeiros’.

Will have proven experience in a senior technical or leadership role within a healthcare/home care setting.

Will have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.

Must speak fluent English and Portuguese

Will have strong understanding of healthcare regulations, home care industry standards, and technology integration in care services.

Must have own transport to reliably commute to work.

Details –

This is a full time, initial 6 month contract leading on to a full time permanent contract for the successful candidate.

Full time 40 hours per week

Salary – Depending on experience, to be discussed at interview.
