Job Description
Our client who owns a luxury 10 bedroom boutique country house in Lagos are currently seeking an experienced and passionate breakfast chef to join their team on a part time basis.
The role –

Set in a luxury retreat venue renowned for its exceptional cuisine, serene atmosphere, and unforgettable guest experiences you will be working closely with the team, you’ll assist in preparing high-quality meals, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and delivering an exceptional culinary experience to a variety of guests including yoga and wellness retreats, families and art groups.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a Michelin-starred chef, with ongoing training and continuous growth opportunities to further develop your culinary skills and expertise.
Requirements –
- Must have previous proven experience as a chef.
- Experience within wellness foods/Veganism/Vegetarianism preferred but not an eliminating factor.
- Must have own car to commute to work
- A passion for sustainability and A passion for sustainability and environmentally conscious practices, with a commitment to using locally sourced, organic ingredients whenever possible.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Details –
- Part time hours (20 hours per week)
- 9-10 month contract starting March 2025
- 7:00am – 1:30pm – Extra hours are available.
- Exact scheduling to be discussed in detail at interview
- Must speak Fluent English, Portuguese is a bonus.
- Salary – 1,100 – 1,300 DOE
